It is also Roman Reigns' job to protect the integrity of his character which he isn't doing. To be fair, none of the talent at WWE seem to be doing this besides The New Day. Talent in the end have the ability to put their proverbial foot down and none of them do this, even guys like Dolph Ziggler or Randy Orton.
